SRG PARTNERSHIPS - Making Places That Endure
Their mission and passion is to create innovative environments that enable our clients to achieve their highest aspirations. We design buildings and spaces that will readily adapt over time, that serve our clients now and into the future, and that inspire those who spend time there. We design places that endure.
CLT for Ray Hall was sourced from forest restoration on Colville National Forest that contributed to reduced fire risk, increased forest health, and improved streamflow.
Glulam for Ray Hall was sourced from Yakama Nation and contributed to forest stewardship based on traditional knowledge, modern science, and cultural values.
Cedar siding for Ray Hall was sourced from a small family-owned mill and family-owned forestland in Clackamas County.
"To start with, a net-zero energy building needs to be extremely energy-efficient," said SRG Partnership Principal Lisa Petterson. "In the case of our project, we're targeting a building that is 80% more efficient than a typical code building."
